Michelle Matousek, D.O.
Dr. Michelle Matousek graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University in 2000.
She completed a residency in family practice at Sparrow Hospital / MSU and is board-certified.
Dr. Matousek is currently completing a fellowship in integrative medicine through The Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She has just recently become an American Board of Obesity Medicine Diplomate through the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
After practicing medicine for more than 20 years, she realizes the value that integrative medicine has on improving the overall health of patients. All care focuses on the whole person, including all aspects of their life. This individualized approach strengthens the therapeutic relationship between patient and physician. Standard medications will be limited by utilizing food as medicine and supplements when needed.
